Diva arrived safe and sound after a long flight from Australia in February 2003.
"Divie" - like she is often called - has a gentle and friendly character and enjoys living in harmony with everybody. And like a true Diva she adores of course all kinds of soft cushions, coats and sofas.
Outside she shows what she´s got inside inside and beats her house-mate "Leo" easily during a chase or a short rabbit-hunt ... if she wants to (the Diva-factor even here comes into play sometimes). Her instincts are to control without problems and she is also easy to handle in obedience.
Diva in our eyes has many thrilling characteristics - may it be her will to please, her ability ot adapt or her nice social behaviour.
She also knows how to please regarding conformation and had an exciting show career, however, is now semi-retired.
Both her mother Gypsy and Dad Rusty are multiple-recipients of Best Gaited Awards and Diva definitely shows, that this gene has been inherited to her when she enters the ring.
Diva gained her German Championship Title at 24 April 2005, not even being three years old (quite early according to our show-system and the fact that she´s a girl), followed by the international one on 07 October 2006.
We love Divie very much and are very grateful that Sue Cameron-Codognotto and Steve Codognotto from Ozrhode Kennels, Australia entrusted us with such a superb dog!
